• What is the purpose of The Robot Database website?

The Robot Database is a website intended to provide information to an audience that wishes to know more about the quickly evolving business of robotics. Please read more here.

  • What is the scope of information covered by the website?

The Robot Database covers the robotics marketplace. This space primarily includes industrial robots in support of automation, experimental field robotics, and the service and consumer robotics markets. Although we applaud the activities and accomplishments occurring at the hobbyist and school system levels, those efforts are not the focus of this website.

  • What is the status of information collection on the website?

We continually add news on robots and organizations. We are in the process of detailing our robot and organizations records in terms of:
    · The market segments, features, and applications associated with robots
    · The locations and defining attributes related to organizations

  • Does the website cover components and component manufacturers?

Not yet but that coverage is on our road map. We will include relevant articles on robotic components. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to provide input on the website features related to components.

  • How can I be notified of updates on The Robot Database?

Sorry, we currently do not support user accounts or mailing lists. We will you let know when this situation changes. You can follow us on Twitter today.

  • How can I submit information about my organization and robots to The Robot Database?

Please use our contact page. We look forward to working with robot manufacturers to help our audience be aware of your offerings. Please keep in mind that the focus of our site is the robot marketplace as opposed to the academic and hobbyist arenas.
